We booked a Deluxe Tent for 3 nights a few months before our stay. We were glad we did because the weekend was sold out! We pulled up to the check in tent and the staff were very welcoming! One staff member had us follow her (she was using a golf cart) to our tent. We were given tent number 8. Parking was right out front of our tent so that was helpful especially considering the amount of luggage we had. Our tent offered us a beautiful view, deck seating, king size bed, bathroom, inside seating and a camping stove.
The tent was incredibly clean, in good care, and are pet friendly (for a small fee). During the day the tent does get a little warm so you can use just the screen for cross breezes (door and windows), a small portable fan, and the misting system. During the night (at least in September) make sure you set a fire! The tents get very cold during the night and the mornings are definitely chilly! Our first night Greg underestimated the cold and didn't set a fire. Needless to say Fred was buried under the blankets, my nose was frozen, and I ended up with a cold.
On our first morning we ordered breakfast (order the night before). Greg ordered a breakfast burrito and I ordered the Quinoa bowl. Unfortunately, breakfast was late (I had read this happens often). Once we did get our breakfast it was very good and the Quinoa bowl is infact one of my favorite things to make now. It's cooked Quinoa, coconut milk, and brown sugar. Delicious!
We loved being able to be surrounded by nature, enjoyed disconnecting from our devices, staring up at the stars, and still having a few comforts from home. The king bed was very comfortable although the pillows were a little on the small side. The bathroom was good except it was a little hard being soaped up and trying to pull the metal chain for the shower.
The only hiccup we encountered was during our last day. The staff were really behind in cleaning and didn't get to our room until late afternoon. Unfortunately, we were there during the cleaning which I always feel bad for. The staff did end up leaving us a couple robes that were ordered for a special group event. The robes were a lovely item to have on the cold morning of our departure.
The last thing I wanted to mention was some reviews talked about road noise. We did hear road noise at night in our tent but it was pretty minor and didn't bother us at all.
