I have finished and delivered all the baby shower favors. I love how they came out, and how I could customize them to the party decorations. Here are some pics of them. Visit my favors page to see more or to order from me.

On our home page we now have a section for shops, blogs, and more of our favorite sites.http://wanderlusthearts.weebly.com/
Under our Creativity page we updated Greg's Art Page. We also added the first group of Artists we like, my Favors, and my Photography pages. I am still working on a book review, recipes, and more fall activities plus some new information about our upcoming trips. This weekend I will be working on a baby shower favor order and unfortunately for Wanderlust Hearts the favors come first. Write more soon We had our first visit of the year to Brookdale Farms in Hollis NH. Apples are officially early this year! When we were at the farm almost half of the 19 varieties of apples were ready for picking.
We chose Honey Crisp, Macoun, and McIntosh Apples. YUM! http://vagabondink.weebly.com/ Check out Greg's newest project: The Vagabond Art Project "I am pleased to share my latest project! I have been drawing sketched every day for nearly two months now, and I have decided what to do with them... GIVE THEM AWAY. I've launched my own website. The premise is simple. I'm giving away dr awings and sketches, mailed to you free of cost, in exchange for a good deed. Please take a minute to check out the site, maybe find something you like. And one last thing, please share this post with your friends if you like the site, Thanks!" This was our third whale watch in New England but our first out of Boston. Every year we give an unusual Christmas gift to our three younger cousins rather than getting them toys they don't need. This year the gift was a whale watch with us.
We met at Long Wharf in Boston and patiently (well some of us) waited for the 9:30 boarding time. The 5 of us headed to the top deck of the boat (which turned out not to be the best idea, lots of movement). The boat does offer three restrooms, food, beverages, and bags for those who get sea / motion sick. It took us a little over than an hour to get out to where the whales were. Compared to other trips we've been on this seemed longer. On this trip we probably got about 45 - 60 minutes of viewing time before the ride back to Boston. We encountered several humpback whales on this trip and they were all very close to our boat. The guide gave the usual talk that this was so exciting and not normal but in our opinion it is normal. The whales seem to always be as curious about us as we are about them. We seemed to have had better experiences previously by viewing whales feeding and also breaching. In the end though they are beautiful creatures and it's still great to see them. |
