Here is a response I received from the Homewood Suites in Savannah Ga based on my review.
Deborah Cline, General Manager at Homewood Suites by Hilton Savannah, responded to this review July 3, 2012 Thank you for staying with us at the Homewood Suites and we're glad to hear you enjoyed your visit to Savannah! It is a great get-away and a beautiful city with lots of history and things to do. I'm happy we were able to get you checked in early - it's not always possible as check out isn't until noon and we clean our suites thoroughly including changing the duvet and comforter after every guest. We are thrilled we could make it happen for you! I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the cornbread and will speak with our breakfast team to see if we can improve on this. Our breakfasts are quite popular around the area so to ensure that we have plenty of food for our registered guests, we had to start giving out dining tickets at check-in. We completely understand you trying another hotel in the Historic District, but remember to come back and see us from time to time. Don't forget we have free parking, spacious suites, complimentary breakfast every morning, and dinner Monday through Thursday. We will also be renovated very soon and can't wait to show it off! Thanks again for staying with us and we hope you'll be back soon! Sincerely, Deborah Cline General Manager

Check out the two new reviews under Restaurants - New York City!
Bar Americain by Bobbly Flay - Lunch Tu Lu's Bakery - Gluten and Dairy Free Birthday Cake! For those who love food and gourmet gifts Chelsea Market is a great place to visit when in New York City. It is also home to the Food Network Studios although they do not allow tours as my friend found out.
On this trip we stopped at a few of the shops but decided against eating at restaurant there since we knew it would be too busy. At the Filling Station you will find various salts, oils, vinegars, and beers. I purchased the Dark Balsamic Strawberry Vinegar; perfect for salads, over fruit, or in a dessert. I also love their White Balsamic Coconut Vinegar during the summer months! I did try their Honey Ginger Vinegar and wasn't as impressed. Nearby, is Jacques Torres Chocolates. I purchased a variety of chocolates in a 12 piece box. We haven't tried them all yet but so far our we loved the Love Bug Chocolate (Key lime ganache kissed with white chocolate), Alize Hearts of Passion (Fresh passion fruit and Alize liquor), and the Liquid Caramel (a unique caramel with a rum twist. We didn't like the Pineapple Pastis (Pineapple pate de fruit and Pastis licorice liquor with milk chocolate ganach). The Pastis overpowered the Pineapple. For a snack we walked to One Lucky Duck for juice. Greg ordered the Fruit Spice (pineapple, pear, and ginger) and he enjoyed it. I ordered the Thai Green (greens, pineapple, cilantro, and lime). What I was given was a mean greens and a response of would it be okay if we just added pineapple to it. When I said no they agreed to make me the correct drink. In the end the Thai Green drink wasn't sweet enough. We also stopped in at Buon Italia and purchased some Pan Forte imported from Siena. Unfortunately, we were unable to find any breads or baked goods that were Gluten or Dairy Free. We visited the Carolina Cider Company in Yemasse SC on the ride home from Savannah. A year ago I wanted to stop but it was pouring rain and we had lunch reservations in Charleston SC. This was the perfect opportunity for some more shopping.
The storefront is as cute as can be. The inside is filled with all kinds of goodies. The store is also in an immaculate and organized manner. We purchased Peach Cider, Strawberry Cider, Hot Chow Chow, Strawberry-Rhubarb Preserves, BBQ sauces, and more. For a pretty place to stretch your legs and for some delicious gourmet goodies we highly recommend stopping at the Carolina Cider Company. Carolina Cider Company 81 Charleston Highway Yemassee, SC (843) 846-1899 I just finished posting our review of Hotel Sofitel New York City. Unfortunately it's a let down. Check out the review here:http://wanderlusthearts.weebly.com/new-york.html I just posted 3 new reviews from Greg! Check out the good and the bad:
Sgt Pepper by Cambridge Brewing Company Dark Depths by Boston Beer Company Saison by Mystic Brewing Company Coming Soon: Griffin’s Bow (Boston Beer Company) Pub Ale (Cody Brewing Company) After finding parking close to the Reading Terminal Market we ventured inside for some tasty treats. Our first stop was at Termini Bros Bakery. Termini Brothers makes delicious Italian Cookies that my family loves. Our second stop was at the 4th Street Cookie Company. If they cookies are good enough for Cookie Monster than they will be good enough for us. We tried their chocolate chip and chocolate chip macadamia cookies and both were outstanding. Our last stop was at Hershel's Deli for lunch to go. We ordered a Pastrami Sandwich with mustard and mayo and a Potato Knish. The Pastrami sandwich was loaded with fresh and flavorful pastrami. The sandwich was one of the best we have ever tried. The Potato Knish was creamy, salty, and perfectly flaky. If you are in the neighborhood I highly recommend shopping and/or dining at the Reading Terminal Market. Reading Terminal Market 51 North 12th Street Philadelphia, PA 19107 (215) 922-6220 Greg's has 3 new Beer Reviews up on the site. They are for:
