Sunday morning started with a very early wake up call. The twins love movies like Madagascar so we all booked the character breakfast at 8 am. Once everyone was ready we made our way downstairs to one of the main dining rooms where we walked into a mess of irritated families. One way to irritate parents and frustrate kids is to cancel a character breakfast without any notification. We heard thanks to other guests that the breakfast was cancelled and although they couldn't get a definite reason why it sounded like the breakfast would now be the next day. Instead of fighting the masses heading into the main dining room we walked back upstairs to the Coastal Kitchen, put a movie on the Ipad and enjoyed a quiet breakfast. After not receiving notification of the cancelled breakfast and seeing that the kids weren't thrilled the previous night when a character walked by we decided to go to the concierge to cancel tomorrows breakfast. Upstairs in the concierge lounge we found out from Ricardo that the breakfast was cancelled due to the rough seas. The staff felt that the kids might not be able to enjoy their time with the motion. It would have been nice to get a call, note, or something before everyone made their way to the restaurant. We easily cancelled the reservation for the next morning and decided to wander around the ship. I believe it was around 11:30 am when we made our way into the Suite Guests Reception. Ricardo welcomed us into Vintages and the spread was beautiful. We briefly spoke with the Captain, the Cruise Director, the Photographer, and a few others while sipping some Champagne and dining on snacks. It was a lovely event and shouldn't be missed. In the afternoon it was time for one of the kids to take a nap and so we took our friends other son so the parents could nap a bit too. We walked outside on the decks, enjoyed the breeze, and went back to our room for some cartoons. While we didn't participate in too many things on board it was really wonderful to just unwind. This evening was the 1st formal night. We all dressed up a bit but throughout the week we weren't able to actually make time for a nice picture of all of us. We dined at Coastal Kitchen again and the restaurant was superb. We definitely over did it tonight but each of us ended up ordering two starters as well as an entree. I ended up needing some Lactaid pills for my Entree. The staff originally brought me a plate of plain fish and plain rice instead of the crab crusted fish over coconut rice. I asked if I could have the normal dish (even though it contained dairy) and they happily complied.
Stay tuned for our 3rd day of the cruise with time spent at Disney Springs.

It was still a good trip despite the fact that there were some problems rose along the way. These rocks could have been a problem with you continuing sailing that path. It was a good thing that you've detected these rocks prior to being there. God is good. I know that you all are experts and already know what to do, but it was a good thing that you took yourselves away from a possible problem. You surely know the drill already!
