Bucket - 8 weeks post op

We ventured off to another PT appointment last night and Bucket continues to do well. The water therapy machine was finally fixed so after a little laser therapy into the pool he went. Bucket wasn't happy as usual but once he got going he was fine. 12 minutes later and we were drying off. 

Our therapist has said that Bucket can be out of his play pen unless he is too active or would be alone. The next big transition!!This is great and scary news to us lol.

We got the new ramp built off of our back deck (the hand rails still need to be put in) so that will make it nice and easy for him and Fred to go outside without needing  a leash. Greg and I both agree that they should be supervised outside now though. Luckily summer is coming so I'll grab a book and catch some rays!

Up next comes the new furniture in our living room. After that Bucket (and us) will be able to head back to our bed. 8 weeks of sleeping in the living room is very difficult! Finally Bucket will be able to roam freely in the house. 

Leaving him home alone and him regaining full mobility is probably a ways off but thanks to the team at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital we are well on our way!!
